Amazing Balinese cooking class with local Jero Nyoman, in sidemen, Ubud. After a stop at Klungkung Market, we got a tour of Jero’s farm and selected some veggies to cook with. The open air kitchen looks over the surrounding farms under huts, with wood fire stoves. Jero is very laid back and will guide you through cooking various meals like curry, corn fritters, soup, tempeh and black rice pudding! Some basic preparation was done of preparing and cutting some of the veggies, but we continued to slice, chop, grind, boil and cook all of the dishes, including making coconut oil from fresh grated coconut! Every dish was delicious, I think the corn fritters were our fave.

Make sure to Book ahead and request Vegan option, you need at least 2 people for the class to run, and the class menu will be decided by the first to book.
