Where do you want to go?

Kaemon

Organic Vegan & Halal lunch buffet in Asakusa! The food is quite simple, but tasty enough and decent value at about 1600¥. A few of the dishes are gluten free and staff can help point out what they are. There’s also a few main dishes like pasta and a burger.

Located close to the station going to Tokyo Sky Tree, so you can go on your way.

Thurs ~ Mon 10:00 – 15:00

Mr Farmer

There are a few branches of this health oriented cafe around Tokyo. While not entirely vegetarian, they do have plenty of veggie and vegan options, and some gluten free choices too. They have curry, burgers, desserts etc. Its slightly expensive but pretty average for this kind of food in Tokyo, quality is good and it has a nice buzz / atmosphere.

Earth Cafe Ubud

Unfortunately this branch is not nearly as good as the Seminyak branch, the Ubud branch staff seem are not very helpful or friendly, and often menu items are missing or unavailable, and only mentioned a while after ordering. Even then, the dishes were not as well prepared. Not bad, but I would stick to Seeds of Life in Ubud or visit their Seminyak branch instead!

nomVnom

NomVNom has loads of veggie burgers with some unique and different flavors and styles. They also have several types of fries, some soups and other side dishes, a few of which are gluten free. Oh, and Ice Cream!

Earth Cafe

Part of the Down To Earth group, Earth Cafe is an Organic Market and Cafe. The meals are light and tasty, with plenty of gluten free options too. I think it’s best to come here for breakfast, and definitely try one of their coco bowls! The store section has organic produce, personal products, snacks etc.

Divine Earth

Part of the Down To Earth group, Divine Earth is a raw vegan cafe! Previously, I wasn’t a big fan of raw food, but this turned out to be our favorite restaurant in Seminyak. The raw lasagna was really good, and the desserts are something special. They have a cinema upstairs with daily viewings so you can catch a movie or tv show. Its a small price for the ticket which can then be used on food, so it’s basically free if you eat there.

Nostralis

Nostralis has a good reputation for their veggie pizza in Melbourne. But to be honest, we weren’t that impressed. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t great, and adding $5 to a medium pizza for vegan cheese + gluten free option ($2.50 each) it just didn’t seem worth it. A bit out of the way to get to also, maybe try delivery or Mr Natural.

Tues – Sun 17:30 ~ 22:00

Mr Natural (Pizzas)

Mr Natural has been serving veggie pizza to Melbournites since 1985! We didn’t get to try them but will definitely on next visit to Melbourne. They have a branch in both Fitzroy & St. Kilda. Let us know what you think!
