Earth Cafe Ubud

Unfortunately this branch is not nearly as good as the Seminyak branch, the Ubud branch staff seem are not very helpful or friendly, and often menu items are missing or unavailable, and only mentioned a while after ordering. Even then, the dishes were not as well prepared. Not bad, but I would stick to Seeds of Life in Ubud or visit their Seminyak branch instead!

Open Daily 07:00 ~ 22:00

Earth Cafe UbudEarth Cafe Ubud

Raw Vegan Cafe and health shop at the top of a hotel. Main meals, salads, desserts and more. The Chia Bowl was really good, with thick melted hot chocolate to pour either in the bowl or your soy milk! And just look at that banoffee pie! :)

IDR 20-50K for meals, 40-125 for juice and smoothies.

15min walk from central ubud or short taxi ride.
Daily 07:00 ~ 21:00

Divine Earth

Part of the Down To Earth group, Divine Earth is a raw vegan cafe! Previously, I wasn’t a big fan of raw food, but this turned out to be our favorite restaurant in Seminyak. The raw lasagna was really good, and the desserts are something special. They have a cinema upstairs with daily viewings so you can catch a movie or tv show. Its a small price for the ticket which can then be used on food, so it’s basically free if you eat there.

Dishes IDR 60-140K

Jalan Raya Basangkasa, South of Sunset Point Shopping Centre.
Daily 07:00 ~ 23:00

The Little Green Cafe

We didn’t get to eat at Little Green Cafe unfortunately, but it looks like a cute little cafe and photos of their food look amazing. Healthy, tasty foods and desserts! Give it a try and let us know.

Mon – Sat – 09:00 – 17:00

Souq is a cafe and boutique store, selling incredibly expensive furniture and clothing items. The cafe itself is nice but very few vegan items on the menu. We simply had some toast here before moving on to get breakfast elsewhere. They did have gluten free vegan toast at least. The drinks are popular but you can get just as good for cheaper elsewhere.

Mon – Sat 07:30 ~ 20:00
Sun 09:00 ~ 18:00

This omni cafe serves healthy food from their buffet and salad bar, with lots of vegan and gluten-free options. Curry, polenta, quinoa, veggies etc. Both healthy and tasty! Various juices to also choose from, and check if any of the available desserts are vegan.

Mon-Sat 11:00 ~ 21:00
Sun 11:00 ~ 18:

Vantra has moved and Vitao is now closed.

Vantra offers Organic, Vegan, Gluten-Free food, juices, lots of desserts, chillout music and a good vibe.

Lunch is now a buffet from 12:00 ~ 18:00, and dinner from 18:00 is a la carte. I have yet to visit the new branch but am very keen to!

The Lawn Cafe

The Lawn Cafe is a build-your-salad cafe with a base of salad or rice, a few toppings and a dressing for S$8. From there, you can add more toppings or grills at extra cost, and there’s enough vegan options to make it worthwhile, including Portobello mushrooms, eggplant, tofu etc. The order sheet lists ingredients for the dressings so you can see exactly what is vegan too.

The portions are pretty decent, but how filling the meal is will largely depend on the ingredients you choose. Quality is good and the food is presented well in large bowls when dining in, with dressings on the side so you can add as much or little as you like.

The cafe has a modern decor, and at Biopolis there is a large seating area, both inside (with a/c) and outdoors, both under shade and in the sun. The cafe is self-service, you get a buzzer to collect your salad when it’s ready, and free water and cutlery are provided. S$8-14 depending what you pick. You can also pre-order online before you go.
